Warranty Information

Shipping Damage:

If any damage is visible at the time of delivery, ask the delivery driver to note the damage before signing the delivery agreement. If your order is damaged to the extent that it is unusable, you should refuse delivery, and we will promptly create and send you a replacement order. If you discover hidden damage and find the item unacceptable, you must notify us within three (3) business days of receiving the order and before hanging, installing, or finishing. Cabinet doors and drawer fronts are custom-made products and cannot be returned. Any item that has been hung, installed, or finished, shows signs of moisture, heat, or sunlight exposure, shows signs of mishandling on the construction site, or has been altered in any way is considered accepted by the buyer and voids any warranty.

Storage Conditions:

Cabinet doors and drawer fronts should be stored indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, away from direct heat and light sources to prevent warping and discoloration. It is also recommended to keep them in a dry place with stable humidity levels to avoid any moisture-related issues.

Natural Wood Characteristics:

Always remember that natural wood varies in color and grain, and may have natural markings such as knots and mineral streaks. These variations are not defects but are part of the beauty of any natural wood product. Each piece of wood has its unique character, so differences in grain and color are not considered defects. Actual colors may differ from what is displayed on your computer or mobile device screen. Additionally, some minor variations in size and shape are to be expected due to the natural expansion and contraction of the wood.

Minor Warping:

Minor warping is not considered a defect. Changes in temperature and humidity will cause natural expansion and contraction of wood, which may lead to warping, especially in unfinished wood products before installation. Minor warping can be easily corrected with proper installation. Surface cracks that do not affect the structure or functionality of the door are considered acceptable.

Maintenance Recommendations:

To extend the life and maintain the appearance of your cabinet doors and drawer fronts, regularly dust and clean them using a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the wood's surface.

Hardware Products Warranty:

The warranty on products from the hardware catalog is one year. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects but does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Warranty Claim Submission:

To file a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide Crafted Cabinet Doors with (a) written notice of the claim under this warranty, and (b) within 30 days of the claim notification, proper documentation of the defective product sent to Crafted Cabinet Doors at info@craftedcabinetdoors.com. Once return authorization is approved, the return must be made within 1 week of receiving the return authorization, and any associated return costs will be borne by the customer.

Limitation of Liability:

It is understood and agreed by both parties that neither Crafted Cabinet Doors nor any other associated party shall be liable, whether in contract, tort under any warranty, in negligence, or otherwise, for any punitive, special, indirect, or consequential damages such as the cost of extraneous materials, labor for installation, removal or replacement, travel costs, or other related expenditures. Any claims against Crafted Cabinet Doors for direct damages shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the purchaser to Crafted Cabinet Doors for the defective component. No action, regardless of form, arising out of the transactions under this agreement may be brought by the purchaser more than five years after the cause of action has accrued.
